History of Java

James Gosling initiated the Java language in June 1991 at Sun Microsystems.
The language initially named as "Oak" which renamed to Java in 1995.
Sun Microsystems released the first public implementation as Java 1.0 in 1996.
Sun Microsystems was acquired by the Oracle Corporation in 2009-10.
